BLIC Standardizes on Beetronics Touchscreens for Logistics and Access Terminals

BLIC, a designer and manufacturer of automated logistics and access terminals, has selected a Beetronics touchscreen to serve as the primary user interface across its terminal platforms. The integration supports reliable, unattended operation in industrial, construction, and controlled-access environments.
BLIC’s terminal systems are deployed in public and semi-exposed locations where users independently manage the drop-off, collection, and storage of materials and equipment. In these applications, the touchscreen functions as the main interaction point between user and system, directly influencing usability, throughput, and system availability.
Following evaluation and testing under real-world conditions, BLIC selected the Beetronics 12HB9M 12-inch high-brightness touchscreen monitor for use in its Master 9 and XGate terminal solutions. The assessment included criteria such as display brightness, touch accuracy, mechanical robustness, long-term stability, and integration requirements.
The 12HB9M is designed for demanding environments and features a vandal-resistant front panel, UV filtering, and support for wide operating temperature and humidity ranges. These characteristics support stable performance in outdoor and semi-outdoor installations where exposure and intensive use are common.
By standardizing on a single touchscreen platform across its terminal solutions, BLIC achieves consistent interaction behavior and predictable system performance. This approach reduces engineering complexity, simplifies maintenance, and supports the introduction of future terminal variants without redesigning the user interface layer.
Hardware consistency and long-term availability were also key considerations. Using a stable touchscreen platform allows BLIC to expand deployments while maintaining technical and visual consistency, avoiding the need for redesigns or revalidation.
With an installed base already in operation and ongoing deployments each year, BLIC continues to expand its logistics and access infrastructure. The use of Beetronics touchscreens supports scalable deployment, long-term maintainability, and reliable operation in environments where availability is critical.
