The awards celebrate the creativity and vision of designers, architects, builders and remodelers whose work continues to shape the future of luxury living.

“Celebrating extraordinary design has always been at the heart of our brand. We believe the most memorable spaces begin with bold ideas, inspired creativity and exceptional artistry,” said Julie Burns, executive director of Monogram. “The Monogram Iconic Kitchen Design Awards recognize the designers, architects, builders and remodelers whose work continues to raise the bar for luxury living while inspiring the future of kitchen design. We can’t wait to see the extraordinary projects that embody luxury, innovation and craftsmanship.”
Entries are accepted in four categories:
- Contemporary Kitchen: Clean lines, modern materials, and minimalist design.
- Traditional Kitchen: Classic detailing, rich craftsmanship, and timeless elegance.
- Transitional Kitchen: A balanced blend of traditional warmth and contemporary simplicity.
- Beyond the Kitchen: Projects extending luxury design into spaces such as sculleries, wine rooms and/or entertaining areas.
Entries will be evaluated on five qualities:
- Integration of Monogram appliances: Evaluates how seamlessly Monogram appliances are incorporated into the overall design, enhancing the aesthetic, functionality and homeowner experience while reflecting the brand’s commitment to luxury design, craftsmanship and the art of living with Monogram.
- Design Excellence: Evaluates the overall quality of the design, including creativity, composition, material selection, craftsmanship, attention to detail and visual harmony.
- Functionality & Space Planning: Measures how effectively the space supports cooking, entertaining and everyday living through thoughtful layouts, intuitive workflows and overall usability.
- Innovation & Originality: Recognizes distinctive ideas, creative problem-solving and innovative applications of materials, technology or design that set the project apart.
- Design Statement and Supporting Materials: Evaluates the strength of the written design statement and supporting imagery, considering how clearly they communicate the project’s vision, design intent and execution.
Entrants will be asked to submit floor plans or layout drawings, elevation or renderings, completed project photography, and a written design statement describing the project’s vision, inspiration and what makes it iconic, along with details on appliances used in the space and other personal and project information.
To ensure each submission is evaluated by the most discerning eyes in luxury design, Monogram has curated an exclusive panel of visionaries to serve on the inaugural judging panel, including: Richard T. Anuszkiewicz, Founder and Principal of Raith Design and Monogram Creative Director; Jeanne Chung, Founder and Owner of Cozy Stylish Chic; Christian Daw, Founder and Principal of Christian Daw Design; Brad Leavitt, President of Scottsdale-based AFT Construction; and Jean Stoffer, Founder and Principal of Jean Stoffer Design and Stoffer Home Cabinetry.
The program will recognize 12 finalists and four category winners, with each category winner receiving a $25,000 grand prize, and national recognition and editorial print coverage in a Hearst design publication, such as House Beautiful, ELLE Décor or VERANDA. First runners-up will each receive a $10,000 cash prize, and second runners-up will each receive a $5,000 cash prize. Monogram will also host all 12 finalists and one guest at the Spring High Point Market celebration, including travel, accommodations and event access.

The deadline for submissions is November 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM EST. Finalists will be notified the week of January 25, 2027 and celebrated at KBIS 2027, with winners announced at the Spring High Point Market in April 2027.
